Human beings live between gravity and levity, not gravity alone
Plants demonstrate BOTH gravity and levity. Both forces are easily observable in seeds sprouting in soil.
The root shoots downward. This may be a trope responsive to gravity: plant roots are gravity-tropic. We know this because you can make plants roots glow in a circle if you keep turning a see-thru pot every day thru a complete 360 degree arc.
Above ground the stems and leaves are drawn skyward. This too may be a trope as is “photo-tropic.” We can get plants to grow at an angle other than 90 degrees if we isolate where they can receive light. However at whatever angle a plan grows it still grows UP and away from Earth, towards the best source of sun and light available. The sap moves UP the sprout and this is not all capillary action either.
Goethean Holistic Science has not progressed yet to a satisfying answer to the question, “How can we separate levity phenomena from capillary action phenomena?” Skeptics of levity can always point to the capillary action which moves sap up a tree to be used to make leaves, also occurs used by a burning candle to draw melted wax up the wick where it is vaporized, mixed with air, and used to fuel the flame.
It may be other subjective proofs of levity as an opposing weak force to the strong force of gravity will have to…
