Re this May 24, On The Media Segment: Is the Vibecession Back or Not?

Segment parrots the White House and Paul Krugman view, ‘Voters think things are terrible. They simply do not know all economic indicators are at historic highs!”

This is EXACTLY the “emperor is naked” self-delusion many Twitter Economists have been pointing out for several months.
May 24 segment parrots the popular elite FALSE CONTRAST: The mismatch between inflation indicators (low, a good thing) versus feeling among middle and lower class voters about the economy (low when it should be high).

This 100% misses the real story. This is a CLASS WARFARE view, how elites excuse themselves from governing and regulating for the highest good of the 99%; and instead, pander to the top 10%.

The REAL CONTRAST is this. Tho the rate of inflation is low, prices have NEVER BEEN HIGHER; they continue to be sky high. The lower 90% see the Dems doing little or nothing to address this. (Granted most voters are unaware of robust anti-trust actions occurring).

The above CLASS WARFARE EXCUSE is why:
- Dem voters are turning away from Biden,
- Why i stopped listening and donating to NPR,
- Why Trump is likely to win in Nov. ‘24,

  • Why Centrist, neoliberal, Wall Street Dems are politically naked in the eyes of 90% of voters

As many on Twitter have been saying, the willful blindness of elites to acknowledge the suffering of the lower 90% explains 100% of why “voters don’t see how good things are” and why Biden is likely to lose in Nov. 24.

In the past On The Media has been better than most other NPR neoliberal-friendly media. For them to sink to this parroting of elite nonsense is shameful reporting.
