TCHale began as a stand up comic. He lost his voice. After 23 doctors became a health coach. I think this explains his first book title, Kick Your Fat in the Nuts. It’s 300 pages. Available free in multiple digital formats if you give your email.

Sample of his material:

Self-evaluation: Am I stuck in either Catabolic or Anabolic metabolism?

Note ~ It’s common and natural for people to have traits from both columns. Are more of your symptoms in one column or the other?

Am I stuck in Catabolic indicators?
Urine pH < 6.1
Saliva pH > 6.8
Pulse < 65
Soft Stool
High urine debris
Light sleep, wake easily at night (cells are too awake)
Little urine given all the water they drink.

Am I stuck in Anabolic indicators?
Urine pH > 6.3
Saliva pH < 6.6
Pulse > 80
Hard Stool
Low urine debris
Deep sleep and difficulty rising (cells getting too little oxygen)
Lots of urine very often.

Stuck in either pattern occurs at the cell level. In catabolic stuckness, cells are too awake(anxious, alert, can’t relax).
In anabolic stuckness, cells are too sleepy (preoccupied with making cellular products, building tissues).

This is from one of his videos. All videos at https://www.youtube.com/@KickItNaturally

Kick Your Fat in the Nuts appears to be his main or first book. It’s almost 300 pages. I think it has all his metabolic self-evaluation tests. His group of tests is similar to the tests all Metabolic Typing practs do.

TCHale seems very compatible with what I’m doing, synthesizing lots of info, presenting it accessibly to a general audience, those who are looking for more radical (effective) solutions than germ-theory-pathology medicine can give.

Holistic healthcare field is bifurcating

Since about 2010, the holistic healthcare field is starting to bifurcate (dividing into two streams).

One holistic stream is Green pathology. In this stream we swap out non-nutritive patent drugs for herbs, vitamins and homeopathics. However we keep the old paradigm of trial-and-error, paying an expert to tell us what to take, waiting to see if it helps or not.

In GP paradigm, some biomarker reference ranges for optimal health may be employed; yet, they are not a major focus (more money to be made form GP trial and error).

The other holistic stream is Metabolic Typing. Since this phrase is copyrighted — and I want to support Wm. Wolcott — I also use the phrase Metabolic Patterns. In this stream, biomarker reference ranges for optimal health are the beginning, middle and end of assessment and treatment, a major focus.

Solutions based on observing metabolic patterns involve each of us doing our own self-tests; or, paying someone to do them on you.

This is where learning Nature’s Plan for optimal physical wellness begins. The end game is becoming your own doctor. Each person does this very individually. Any baby steps you take this direction improve your physical health.
