We’re in charge. Now what shall we do?

Starting after the Big Blue Wave election of 2020, in Jan 2021 Women In Congress was formed to acknowledge women increasingly:

- Held the moral high ground, and

- Had the vast majority of public sentiment behind them.

Women In Congress members kept creating and attending Town Halls in their districts, listening to people, using their voice to express themselves. As news of benefits valuable and timely for the 99% spread, “the train picked up steam.”

It took fake president Donald Duck and Brett Kavanaugh to break the magician’s spell and alert women, better interpersonal behavior would not come from — and never would never come from — current generations of male leaders. The leadership ball was in the women’s court. What was their play?

As we mentioned, Women In Congress started with The Squad, grew into an informal support group, then became more and more organized as it grew. In Dec. 2022, membership in Women In Congress was the top request of newly elected women. On the Hill, experienced elected women mentored newly elected women.
