Unless and until, your group-org has consensus on a Vision statement, Mission statement, Product(s) statement and an optional Values statement, leadership has NOT done all you can to create coherence and energetic strength in your org.

Q: Working on Vision-Mission is boring and takes up too much time.

A: If you try to run your org on right-brain enthusiasm and feel-good only, history tells us your efforts will be short-lived. Only orgs with some balance between left and right brain intelligences are sustainable. Consider:

Right-brain ~ centrifugal force, periphery-seeking: enthusiasm, outreach, social media, novelty, fun, extraverted Feeling,

Left-brain ~ centripetal force, centre-seeking, coherence, integration, integrity, stability, sustainability.

Q: It takes too much time to come to consensus on Vision, Mission, Product(s) statements (VMP).

A: Yes. Still, NO BETTER USE OF SHARED TIME than to build CONSENSUS and COHERENCE in your org than having workable Vision, Mission, Product(s) statements.
