A big question now is, “What comes after our obsession-compulsion with technology, screens and imagery?”

The answer to this is, re-inventing face-to-face interaction thru more workable-sustainable methods of social intercourse.

If you forgot, or never noticed, the quality of mainstream social intercourse has been declining since the 1950s. THIS IS WHY electronics, screens and imagery were able to replace nightly family dinners, front porch conversation, singing songs around the piano, neighborhood meetings, town halls and constructive civic engagement.

Several younger generations have grown up now with computers-cell phones. What the computer-generations mostly do not realize, is they live in a brief Age of Maximum Interpersonal Isolation and Separation.

This has been historical bubble, created by the paradigm of hype-consumption of material goods, when persons were maximally separated-isolated from each other. Never before have persons been as separated-isolated. For a brief time, screens able to play back and stream audio-video became less threatening, more predictable and safer than talking with even your next door neighbors.
