iNtuitive Feeling dilemma of the “good Terminator” mythology

Wow. If you love filmmaking which expands the History of Imagination in narrative literature, T-DFate is a movie for you.

Why so many lukewarm and cool reviews? If we step back to view this from the mythological level, I think things are more clear.

Consider ~ T1 is basically John Carpenter’s Halloween with a robot instead of Michael Myers.

Conversely ~ Every Halloween sequel is basically T1 with a man instead of a robot as the implacable enemy.

T2 is NOT like Halloween. T2 begins the “good Terminator” mythology. T6, T-DFate returns very strongly to “good Terminator” mythology and adds girl power.

What I perceive in T6’s underperforming and professional reviews blaming the script and IP is this: Many of the most progressive Scripts and directing have become too progressive for today’s young male ticket buyers; and, for many professional critics who are in their 20s-30s.

I Alita Battle Angel’s reception and performance may fit this pattern too.

Alita is another very professional, 100% effort in sci-fi-fantasy, WHICH HAS A GOOD, NOT JUST A COMPETENT SCRIPT; which then, under-performs at the box office,
